Until the game was later developed and published by Zinkia Games, a subsidiary of Zinkia Entertainment on November 18th, 2011.Pocoyo Racing Nintendo Wii Games WBFS/ISO Full Version The game was originally going to be developed by SouthPeak Games, however, due to many issues with Zinkia, it ended up getting cancelled. There are 12 characters who each have 2 karts/cars that are exclusive to only them. The mode functions just like the other modes, except that there is a TV which appears that shows Pocoyo doing various dance moves in order to distract the player from the race. The Party mode has two types of modes: King of the Track, which is a 2 player-only game where 2 people must compete in a race, and the loser must pass the Wii Remote to the next person, and Drive Laughing, which can be played alone. ![]() However, the meter automatically fills up if the 2 button is not being held down. There are also speed boosts that you can collect, which obviously give you more speed by holding down the 2 buttons until the meter is empty. There are also black balloons that act like the Thundercloud from Mario Kart Wii, as once they are collected, you have to pass it to another racer in a limited amount of time before the balloon pops. On every track, there are also items/powerups that can be collected, such as a temporary force field, which makes you immune to getting hit by obstacles, and an invisible powerup that allows you to become a ghost, temporarily. Once you have completed 4 races, the Grand Prix is completed. The player then has an option to either replay the same track they just completed 3 more times, or race on a random track. (12 if not counting the mirrored ones) Once a race is completed, you earn stars which accumulate depending on your finishing position. (4 if not counting the mirrored ones) Thus there being 24 tracks in total. There are 3 “environments” (Toys, Ocean, and Space) that each have 8 tracks. However, the difficulty only applies to the number of obstacles on the tracks, not the AI. There are 3 modes: Easy, Normal, and Hard. Like Mario Kart Wii, in the Grand Prix, you race against 11 other racers to go through 4 races. However, the game allows you to play through all 3 of the modes in whichever order you want, and in later levels, there are multiple of these three modes. The cutscenes can be watched in the Theatre of the game, which allows you to either watch each cutscene individually or playing them all at once by pressing the A button. Leveling up will unlock cutscenes that tell a story. Once done, the level is fully completed, and you will unlock a picture, level up, and unlock the next level. ![]() The player then must play through 10 levels, which each have 3 different modes: Championship, where you must race against 11 other racers and afterwards earn a gold, silver, or bronze medal if placing at least in the top 3 Time Trials, where you must race on a track alone, trying to get the fastest time possible, then afterwards, race against your ghost to beat your previous time and earn a medal Last, is a Balloon Bursting mode, which is a challenge where the player has to collect as many balloons as possible in order to earn either a gold, silver, or bronze medal, depending on how many balloons they’ve collected. In the Story Mode, the player can create up to 3 profiles/save states and choose between 12 different profile icons for them. But also shares many similarities between Mario Kart Wii and DS. ![]() Unlike many other racing games, Pocoyo Racing has a Story Mode, (which is called “Motor Olympics”), similar to Crash Team Racing. ![]()
